The Lee County housing market fell harder and faster than the national average, and is now blowing away the national market on the upswing as well -- year-over-year August sales were almost DOUBLE in this portion of southwest Florida ... (The median price of a house sold was $89,300, off 39 percent from the $146,900 a year earlier. )

Another recent article (see links at end) provides further evidence that the Fort Myers real estate market might be on the mend >> the return of 'bidding wars' !!
